Mornings are the best… rest cures what ails ya.  However, I did get a massive calf cramp last night that woke me up screaming bloody murder.  I haven’t had one of those in years.  Maybe my salt intake isn’t high enough, or maybe a vitamin deficiency?  Not sure on that one.  Just so happens I plan to start taking a daily multi-vitamin… as of today.

Last night’s Carb Lovers Diet meeting was really informative & inspiring.  It is great to be sharing the same experience with others.  A lot of us are feeling the same things right about now:  low on energy, but high on hope.  Everyone loves the food across the board.  It is definitely a way of eating that can take us through the rest of our lives!  We also got our next-phase meal plan (which starts next Tuesday for me) and the options are fabulous.  This is the phase where our diets will become more targeted to our lifestyles.  I have a meeting today at 3 with our awesome dietician, Sonthe Burge, and together we will figure out a plan that is good for me.  LOVE it.

For breakfast I had the Fiber One cereal option- 1/2 cup with 1/2 cup low-fat milk & half a banana.  This is a much smaller portion of cereal than I am used to.  😉   For lunch I am going to have a Bocca Veggie Burger w/ an apple, greek yogurt w/ honey and rolled oats for my afternoon snack, then black bean tacos for dinner.  Sounds good to me!

Fiber One Cereal... mmmmm
