Probably not.  BUT, I have noticed over the past week or two that my hunger has started to decrease significantly, and even more importantly my cravings have been cut in half.  Kraft Macaroni and Cheese?  Meh.  French fries from McDonalds?  Pass.

Who is this person?!!?!?!!

My only explanation is – out of sight, out of mind.  I literally haven’t eaten anything “bad” in almost 10 weeks.  For the most part it was pretty painful to cut those foods out of my diet, but I feel like I have hit a bend in the road.  It feels a little easier now.  I didn’t expect that to happen.

It is still overwhelming to think that I am only halfway to my goal, so when my mind drifts to those thoughts I just remember that it’s one day at a time.  Honestly, it doesn’t feel like 12 weeks have already past.  So that is very encouraging.  For those people who have significant amounts of weight to lose, my utmost respect goes out to you!  In the end I will only have had a “taste” of what it’s like to walk in your shoes.

Kraft Mac 'n Cheese, go for a hike!
