This morning I met my friend Jennifer Foster for our usual Friday morning run with her dog Jax… only this time her husband & baby Mills joined us too (Mills had the joy of being pushed in a stroller).  😀  So much FUN and a perfect way to kick-off a great weekend.  Next week I will be sure to snap a photo of them for my blog before they head back home.

Today I feel re-energized about losing my last bit of weight.  I haven’t been writing much about it, but these last 10 pounds have been a struggle.  On the one hand, I hate to complain about it b/c I know there are so many of you out there with much more to lose than I do.  But all I can focus on is myself and my own goals.  I think one of the reasons why it has been so hard is b/c my caloric intake is down pretty low to maintain a 2-pound a week loss.  Sometimes I wonder if I am eating enough, but my energy levels are good and my body is reacting well.  It’s my mind that wants to eat more.  My old habits are lurking in the midst and I have to fight them off on a daily basis.

With all that being said, I am extremely happy with the program I’m on.  My lifestyle changes are ideal and most of the time it is easy to maintain.  I can’t wait to reach my goal… it is going to be one of the best days of my life.  🙂
