BEST NEWS EVER – I finally got around to recalculating my MyPlate settings on LiveStrong.com (since I have reached my goal weight and don’t want to lose any more)… and guess what???  It told me that to maintain my weight of 145, I can eat up to 2,147 calories a day!!!  (Not including exercise.)  I am sure a lot of you are thinking… wow, that’s still not that much.  But let me tell ya, when you’ve been eating between 1,200 & 1,500 (depending on exercise intensity) for about 5 months, that’s BIG news.  🙂  I don’t plan to make the leap all the way up to 2,100 right off the bat… I will probably just add a few hundred calories each day for a week at a time to see how my body reacts.  I will try out 1,500 -1,800 range first and see what happens.  If I lose an additional pound or two, it won’t be the worst thing that’s ever happened.  😉

A friend of mine also pointed out that I could spread the calorie love… as in if I eat less one day, then I could eat a little more the next.  Once again, these are all things that I will have to test out on my own body.  It’s a whole new world & perspective!!! 😀 😀 😀  SO GLAD that I have finally arrived.

My friend Vero and I have been kicking some serious butt with our running schedule lately.  I think we are up to 25 miles a week, with 2 days off.  Isn’t that crazy?  Also, getting up early is such a piece of cake now when it used to be SO HARD.  I guess it just goes to show what sticking with a program will do for you.  It is important to remind everyone though that exercise was just complimentary to my diet when it came to losing weight.  As a matter of fact, when I first started CarbLovers I stopped exercising completely to focus 100% on my new eating plan.  I think that was a very smart move, and I was able to slowly incorporate exercise as the weeks went by.  Now, I am faster than I’ve ever been b/c I am so much lighter!!!

I am feeling much less stressed today.  I buckled down and got a lot of sh*t done, and I feel like I am finally caught up (knock on wood).  This weekend should be soooooo much fun – my husband and I will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary, plus there are all sorts of Halloween activities & parties going on.  Life is worth celebrating!!!
