I started to feel sick again yesterday so I decided to do a swap – instead of having an off day today (Monday), I took it yesterday and swore to myself that I would get my long run in today with a split this morning (8 miles) & afternoon (8 miles).    I just got back a little while ago from the first set, so I’m looking forward to knocking out the other 8 after work.  I read online that it’s OK to split your long runs every now and then, and its most ideal if you can do both sets in the same day.  So this weekend I will resume with my original goal of running the course (13.1 mile loop) with an additional 5 miles.  That will bring me up to 18 miles for my long run this weekend.  Boo-ya!!!
