If you mix chocolate (especially lavender chocolate), red wine, cruelty-free rooster feathers & friends, then you are destined to have a fabulous night!!  😀  Thank you Vero for inviting me to the “Every Drop Counts” fundraiser event benefiting the Cahaba River Society.  I even left with a little bird in my hair.  🙂

Today’s post will be short, as I am getting ready to head out-of-town to Dothan with my coworker & friend Misty.  We may even drive the extra hour tomorrow to visit the beach (YES!!) if we have the time.  I got my wetsuit in the mail yesterday so that would be a great time to test it out in some open water.  Though, I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t completely terrified of the thought of a shark eating me while swimming.  :/  I guess I will just have to suck it up and face my fear!  I will be posting lots of photos over the weekend, so stay tuned.

P.S. – If you would like your own rooster feathers, you can go to the Richard Joseph Salon Spa and have one put in for only $10.  Or if you want more, you can do 3 for $20 and a bundle for $50. Pretty cool!  They last for up to 5 weeks, and you can wash, dry & curl them just like regular hair.  Most importantly, they are cruelty-free.  Ask for Jonathan Fowler!
