If there is anything that I learned this weekend, it’s that fun and friendship knows no age.  I remember a time in the not so distant past where I would have been worried about turning 30, 40 and even 50… but as I’ve made dear friends across the spectrum it’s become more and more clear that age doesn’t really mean anything.  Vero turned the big 4-0 with grace and in turn made me excited for my own future.  🙂

It’s Bonnaroo week!!!!!!!!!!!  I can’t believe how quickly it came, but not a moment too soon.  In preparation I am going to run every morning with the girls up until Wednesday, then that night the Chez Knox Rox and I depart for a 5-day adventure in a field in Tennessee.  😀  Since I’m pretty positive that we won’t have any electric access while we are up there, I will have to blog from my phone… so the posts may be shorter than usual.  However I plan to bring the laptop just in case there are designated areas to plug-in.

I have been trying to think of ways that I can exercise while at the festival, and the only thing I can come up with is taking along my bike and stationary trainer.  Since our car will be parked right next to our tent, I can easily take it in and out as I want to use it.  Is that completely nerdy?  We did find out that they have showers for $7, so I can always clean-up after a quick workout.  Maybe I should just consider not exercising for 5 days since I will be walking around & dancing so much anyway.  Thoughts?

On another subject, what do you do when you are lacking direction and confidence in an area of life that is usually crystal clear?  I wonder sometimes how much of life we can control… and when we can’t, do we just sit back and let life do it’s thing?  I guess all we can do it give each day everything we have in the most positive way we can.
