Happy 31st birthday to my sister Christy!!!  You are a wonderful sister, mom and friend.  I hope this year is everything you deserve it to be.

Christy and I were always very close growing up since we are only 18 months a part.  And by close, I mean knock-down drag-out fights between the ages of 8 & 13.  🙂  Looking back, it is actually kind of surreal how physical we were with each other.  We would fight over silly things like reading diaries and having to share certain things like clothes.  I even had special boobie trap diary entries from way back when as set-ups to see if she was snooping in my stuff.  Like I was one to talk though, there wasn’t a thing in our house that I didn’t know was there.  I knew where the Christmas presents were hidden every year and I went through all of my parent’s things.  I loved information, despite the face that it may have not be beneficial for me to know.  Maybe I missed my calling in life as a spy.

But back to Christy, it’s been a really neat to share life from almost day 1 with someone who has had the same experiences as me.  She will always know what life was like at the ages of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, & 30.  And believe me, life has changed a lot over the years… for her and for me.  But one thing will remain the same no matter what – she will always be my sister.
