I am posting a little later than normal today due to the fact that I left my keys in a friend’s car last night and I had to spend the morning retrieving them.  😀  We had a great time last night at the 30th Anniversary MTV Party (benefiting the Sidewalk Film Festival) in celebration of Alan Hunter, one of the first VJ’s on the station.  He is a native of Birmingham and has been a friend of mine for about 8 years now.  His wife, Elizabeth Bradley Hunter, was the amazing lady & friend who helped steer me in the right direction for “Piece of Cake” back in 2006.  Special folks indeed.  It was a great night, even if I was only one of the few people who showed up in an 80’s costume (holla Lee & Delaine!!).

I am looking forward to a pretty relaxed weekend after a very busy last 4 weeks.  A lot has happened during that time frame, so my main goal is to chill out and do some “me” stuff.  My sister Christy, her husband Mike and my niece Anna are in town for a few days too so it is always fun to hang out with them.  As for Saturday & Sunday, I am hoping for some pool time (w/ SPF 75), a good book and lots of naps.  🙂

With friends at the 30th Anniversary MTV Party with Alan Hunter!

Me with a vintage Moon Man! 😀 I've noticed that sometimes I smile crooked.
