After attending boot camp yesterday morning, I was very low energy for the rest of the day and it was hard to snap back into the usual program.  I know it’s just something new that I need to get used to, but day one was a little hard.  My body is sore, but not unbearably sore as I was anticipating.  I am actually looking forward to doing it again tomorrow, as I know my energy levels will improve the more I do it.  Hopefully I will be able to move by the time 6:30 a.m. comes around!

After a loooooong day at work, my friend Misty and I went to have some happy hour $2 frozen margaritas at a local Mexican restaurant.  We talked about everything under the sun, from work to our personal lives.  We laughed and laughed, all while getting more refills. 🙂 It was a really good time.  I am so glad to have friends like her.  After we finished up around 7:30 or so, I came home and had an impromptu dance party for one complete with head slinging and bed jumping. 😀  It was pretty silly… and awesome.  I think I was asleep by 9.  Perfect way to end a so-so Monday.

I feel pretty upbeat this morning.  I think today is going to be a better day.  Tonight there is a really cool event at Oak Hill Cemetary called Shooting the Moon that I’m pretty excited about attending.  It’s so bizarre, but I love cemeteries.  I have a strange fascination for them, especially at night.  They feel romantic to me.  I think it’s because an old exboyfriend of mine and I in high school used to make out in one all the time…. with Chicago playing on the radio.  Ha!!  Yes, I was that cool.  I think for my 16th birthday my parents gave me a Chicago’s greatest hits CD and it was the best thing in the whole wide world.  I’ve come a long way, folks.
